There is a woman some of you may know
As she has a big cat site on the net
And although we are best of friends
Face to face we two have not met
I recall it was only a couple of years ago
My inbox contained a message from her
As she was needing help with a page
And the note was signed with purrs
How could this lady know all about me
Was a question that to her I did ask
And her reply was that Elaine Hall
Had said to email me about the task
For days we conversed back and forth
And as the months turned into a year
A friendship between us was formed
As we shared our good times and tears
Late at night my telephone would ring
And I knew she'd be on the other end
Laughing and giggling about a mistake
And asking if possibly to it I'd mend
This great woman I have come to know
Even being separated by the miles
And if you pay her cat site a visit
You too will be blessed and smile
Oh yes, this poem indeed is a true story
And I dont know what more I can say
Other than I thank the good Lord above
For sending a friend name KC my way
