Devil Woman Leave Me Alone
The neon sign flashed brightly red
From his motel room where he sat alone
The time had come to tell her goodbye
For he had a loving wife waiting at home
Suddenly he heard a knock on his door
Once again, his lover was here
He knew he now had to face her
And this was his biggest fear
How could he tell her it was over
That their time would be no more
For the woman he had chosen to marry
Was the only one he truly adored
With arms outstretched she walked toward him
As she had done so many times before
He backed away with a long cold stare
Now wanting to walk out the door
And with all the charm she could muster
While time seemed to be standing still
He tried to resist her every move
Fighting hard to maintain his will
He could feel his heart pounding faster
As each step brought her closer to him
He cried, "Our love affair is over"!
"I am tired of living in sin"!
Once home he confessed his lustful affair
To the one woman he truly adored
Upon hearing the words of the man she loved
She forgave him and spoke of it no more
