Winter and spring have come and gone
Now the month of June is here
Many young lovers stroll hand in hand
As wedding bells merrily ring clear

What is it about this warm summer month
That cause couples to stop and plan
The grandest wedding for all to attend
Thinking theirs is the finest in the land

Throughout the ages vows are exchanged
During the magical month of June
Prospective brides all dream of this day
Many leaving their parents too soon

Love's soft whispers are heard in the air
As it beckons each one to draw near
To join together their two hearts as one
And share everything in life they hold dear

Some are dreaming of a fairy tale life
Consisting only of an eternal love
Oh but the heartache some will bear
As their union wasn't blessed from above

Could this merely be a dream or illusion
From emotions that didn't hold true
Many dreams have died at the altar
As their life's turned a dark shade of blue

How many have been called a June Bride
Accepting a cherished band of gold
Then realizing as the days slipped away
How foolishly they gave heart and soul

Oh yes, true love is in the air they say
As they gaze into star filled eyes
But how many life's will be shattered
As a result of unknowing lies

Once again girls will flock to the altar
As this mystical month has arrived
Love is now in the air they say
So be careful all you soon to be brides
