I have a dear little sweetheart
Brooklyn Jordan is his name
Proud parents
are John and Mariska
And by the grace of God he came
Brooklyn now calls me his "Oma"
Meaning grandma
in Dutch where we live
A handsome little boy of eight months old
Here in
Holland much love he does give
His hair is the prettiest shade of blonde
With
eyes of the deepest blue
Little rosy red cheeks add color
To make you
melt when he looks at you
He laughs and giggles as he crawls
about
Discovering what to him is brand new
Never ceasing to amaze us
all
While he ventures for new things to do
Brooklyn comes to visit most every day
Sitting
and playing on my kitchen floor
When he sees me looking upon his sweet
face
He just smiles with a look I adore
Such a curious and busy little blonde haired
boy
Who has stolen my heart away
He cries when Mommy says 'time to
go'
With his Oma he wants to stay
I just love my little sweetheart
With all that
I have in my soul
All grandmothers have their memories
Of stories that
will long be told
There will come a day when Brooklyn must go
To
venture forth with a family of his own
And this grandma' here in
Holland
Will miss having him here at her home
So until that day arrives in your life
Each day
I will cherish you more
That blue eyed, blonde haired, handsome
boy
Little Brooklyn I will always adore
