Where Is That Easter Bunny
The sun was brightly shining
Easter Sunday was finally here
As she jumped from her bed
Pulling on slippers with bunny ears
As she quickly found her clothes
An Easter dress, hat and shoes
She went running down the hallway
To see if she could find some clues
Into the flower garden she did run
Looking for the Easter bunny
His name was Peter Cottontail
And to her that was very funny
Each year he had come to visit her
Leaving a big basket full of joy
And in it was eggs and candy
With several very lovely toys
Quietly she hid amongst the flowers
And waited patiently for him to appear
Vowing this time she would find him
Not wanting to wait another year
Now where could Peter Cottontail be
Surely she hadnt missed him again
And as she sat waiting silently
A rabbit watched her with a grin
What a pretty little girl he thought
Dressed in all her Easter attire
Didnt she know she couldnt find him
As he hopped through the garden wire
She sat alone watching for hours
Until it was time to go inside
Knowing next year she would find him
After all then she would be five
