Cowboy In Training

Halloween night was drawing near
And all the children were ready
All except for a tiny baby boy
Whose name was Cowboy Freddie

A baby who loved his stick horse
And dreamed one day he'd ride
Was just a cowboy in training
Getting ready to go outside

Being so young he had not a clue
Of the excitement and the fun
As he was getting all dressed up
With a cowboy hat and a toy gun

Spooks and goblins in the night
Were scary but he was so brave
For little boy's are very tough
As he was told by Grandpa Dave

Witches riding on their old broom
Against the big full moon light
Cast eerie shadows for all to see
But he wasn't afraid of the fright

Little girls all dressed in frilly lace
And wanting to be a beauty queen
Made him laugh at the very thought
As he put on his tight blue jeans

Huge pumpkins with hollowed eyes
And candles that cast a warm glow
Were all a part of this eerie fun
And Freddie was now ready to go

Enjoying his very first Halloween
He is dressed up for the night
And a tiny cowboy with his Grandpa
Leave the house to see the sights
