I was born April 19, 1938 in a very small town forty six miles south Of Laredo Texas.

My father had left ranching and was in oil field where I have spent most of my life. We moved all over Texas following drilling rigs, so in doing so I did many things in my life.

Guess that is where the stories came from. They all are true as I lived them.

I got into welding when I was in high school and of course played with it when I was seven years old until I went to work. I dropped out of High School in Mc Allen Texas in 1953

I worked a couple years and joined the Army and got hurt on my second hitch and got out and went to welding full time and still do some to this day. I turned Pro several years back.

I had one brother seven years younger than me and one sister sixteen months younger than me. I have six daughters from two marriages am real close to one of then yet. I see her often when I go to the VA hospital for checkups in Houston.

I am single now and have been for sometime. I live here on the coast and have a small welding shop in front of my home so I really never leave home much. I guess that is why I am single - sort of out of circulation .

My health is fair I do have diabetes though that really is hard on me. If any that reads this has it I suggest you do as the doctor says, it can be controlled. I have had open heart surgery , a triple aneurysm that put me in a coma for a couple months. I survived it .

I spend my time telling stories of my past in hopes they will be enjoyed or at least warn folks in some of them. I found out the biggest asset to life is believing in Jesus Christ. If it were not for him I would not be writing this .
